"Demeter France is the control of agriculture and biodynamic certification body on French territory. "
Its role is to organize the annual checks - in addition to the control of organic certification bodies - in agricultural areas and in Demeter certified processors and distributors in France. After validation of compliance with specifications Demeter defined internationally, Demeter France establishes a certificate valid for one year attesting that the biodynamic practices of production, processing and traceability are met. For this, the certification managers work together with the certification committee, composed of professionals from biodynamic agricutlure and decide whether to certify a domain or a company in the greater impartiality.
Demeter France, as an national organization independent federated to the association Demeter International, actively participates in the work conducted on the specifications (definition and depth) internationally.
Since its inception, Demeter France also puts a lot of its forces in the Demeter brand protection as well as in the defense of biodynamics. The objective is to avoid fraudulent use references to biodynamic and Demeter by non-certified producers and companies and thus guarantee consumers a real quality biodynamic . This work also involves the representation of Demeter in national and international bodies such as the European Commission in Brussels.
Demeter France is involved in the communication : new website presence on Facebook and Twitter soon, publications in journals, increased presence at trade fairs and exhibitions, information document editing for consumers .... All this with the aim to better publicize the certification and the quality of Demeter products in France.
In recent years, Demeter France is also investing increasingly in other key tasks for the development of biodynamics in France. First in the structuring of Demeter channels French, particularly cereals sectors, to guarantee a Demeter product from field to plate. This was reflected for example by the establishment of Demeter France Coop Cooperative Demeter French cereals.

Demeter France is also working closely with regulators and certification of organic agriculture and form as such bio controllers control of biodynamic agriculture.
European Union Certified Organic
Wherever today's consumers choose to buy or eat organic products, they should be able to have confidence that these comply with strict EU rules. Products that do not meet these standards may not be referred to as organic or bear the EU's organic logo or a national equivalent.
This is why the EU regulation on organic farming covers not only production and processing, but also the control and labelling of organic food.
Organic farmers, processors and traders, must comply with strict EU requirements if they want to use the EU organic logo or label their products as organic.
The EU requires an equally strict control system with checks carried out at every stage of the organic chain. Every operator (farmer, processor, trader, importer or exporter) is checked at least once a year, or more often on the basis of risk assessment.
So whenever you buy organic food, you can be confident that it has been produced in accordance with strict environmental and animal welfare rules and checked accordingly.
Labelling of organic produce
As well as the standard list of ingredients and nutritional value figures, organic product labels should bear the name of the producer, processor or distributor who last handled the item. The name or code number of the national certification authority should also be on the label.
The name or code number of the control authority or body in the EU which checked the operator should also be on the label.
Wild Tea back to the roots
The leaves for these ‚WildTeas’ originate from the last wild growing tea plants of the World. These plants have never been cultivated, or modified to enhance crops. This is pure nature, untouched and original. The plants ( Camellia Sinensis ) grow wild in some of the last rainforest in South-East Asia and are harvested by the local tribes, mainly for their own consumption.
Like most wild plants, the ancients tea trees have a considerable higher content of valuable ingredients, than most cultivated varieties. A good basis for high quality tea.Similar to other areas with ancient forest, these are endangered by the advancing industrial agriculture. So one of our intentions, is to open markets for these teas in order to enable the tribes to continue with the harvesting, as it would guaranty them a sufficient income.
The certification of the producers according to the EEC and US-NOP Bio-Rg., as well as to the FLO-Fairtrade standards, guaranty sustainable prices and funds for the development of the area.
